求救为什么我使用了公社的美化包之后gvim 删除中文是删除半

我的系统是rh80, gvim是默认的vim6.1
其他的一切都正常，
在我的vimrc文件中也设置了：

set fileencodings=prc
set guifontset=-*-*-medium-r-normal--14-*-*-*-*-*-gb2312.1980-0

set fileencodings=gb2312
set guifontset=-*-simsun-medium-r-normal--14-*-*-*-*-*-gb2312.1980-0
.................. 好多种组合都试过了，就是不行。

哪位大侠帮帮我

是不是gvim6.1特有的问题呀，以前用5.8的时候没有这种现象呀？？？
在xterm中使用中文也很正常！

谁指导怎么解决！！！
