笔记本上装915GM驱动问题

下边问题不知道怎么搞了，在网上找了，还是没找到解决的方法。。。
系统为FC5，HP的笔记本，915GM的芯片。希望知道的帮帮忙，谢谢～

然后在dri.log中有如下信息：
[code:1]Makefile:173: *** Cannot find a kernel config file。 停止。

2.6.17的内核中早已带了915GM的驱动。
Device Drivers  --->
     Character devices  --->
         Intel 830M, 845G, 852GM, 855GM, 865G (i915 driver)  --->
这个地方应该是dri的驱动，不明白，为什么楼主还要装？？

和我 的 笔记本是一样的。最新的 内核是有915的驱动的。

在编译好相应的驱动后，你再用
gtf这个程序。
我的是1200x800的宽屏的 。
我使用：  
  #gtf 1200      800              60      

然后将结果考到，/etc/X11/下的Xorg的文件中，重启即可。
具体怎么拷，你查一下gtf的使用就行了 。
