在什么地方可以写命令,vi还有shell怎样打开?

我是个才菜鸟,老听说linux就象dos一样有好多的命令,可怎么找不到在什么地方写命令?
常听说vi,shell,他们都是些什么东西,怎么打开?

还请各位高抬贵手,帮我一把!

You can open a shell prompt by selecting Main Menu => System Tools => Terminal.
In the shell, can type:
vi [filename].
And then you can type e to enter edit status,
then can type i to enter insert status.
If you want to exit the vi state,
press Esc key, Ctrl+:,
than type wq to enter the default shell environment.
With some system files, carefully use vi to modefy them.

我单独键入vi则进到一个界面上面已经写了很多字,不是空白的

如果你单独输入vi, 没有带需要编辑的文件名，出来的是vi的启动界面，有一些简单的帮助，输入i，进入编辑模式，就可以输入了。
