关于firefly的pacth的一点想法和问题

我用的是SUSE LINUX 8.2,没有现成的rpm包可用，所以就下了firefly的for redhat的*.src.rpm包来自己编译安装，加了firefly的pacth后能有很好的中文显示，但如果不给qt打patch的话，在字体选择中就会有乱码，其他好象没 什么问题。我的想法是，能不能不让它在字体选择时显示中文字体名，这样也就可以让象我一样用小猫上网的人省些网费，而不用去下载mozilal,和qt了。
还有因为我太菜了，不知道怎样安装ft2demos-2.1.4, pango-1.2.1.还有freetype-pre1.4是做什么用的。
