我换了块显卡，启动不了了，怎么办，我不想重装

但是被朋友借走了，只好用VOODOO3了
但是启动不了了，怎么设置才能弄好

Edit /etc/X11/XF86config file.  Change the "Device" section to look something like this

Section "Device"
      Identifier  "Voodoo3"
      Driver    "tdfx"
EndSection

Then change "Device" line in "Screen" section to look something like this
Section "Screen"
      Identifier "Screen0"
      Device    "Voodoo3"    #this is the important part

Change the default run level to "3" by editing /etc/inittab

change the line
id:5:initdefault

to
id:3:initdefault

reboot, and you should be in console.

用安装盘启动，进入安装界面后切到控制台，把linux的/分区mount上来，改/etc/inittab

随便建一个目录，比如mkdir a
然后mount /dev/hda3 a (假如hda3是根分区)
vim a/etc/inittab
...............

umount a
rm a -rf
reboot
