How to make a swap!?Help me!

Just now i made a new system RH9.0 ,But there was no swap,so i want to make a swap

But when i opened the directory /etc/fstab i saw:
LABEL=/                 /                       ext3    defaults        1 1
none                    /dev/pts                devpts  gid=5,mode=620  0 0
none                    /proc                   proc    defaults        0 0
none                    /dev/shm                tmpfs   defaults        0 0
/dev/cdrom              /mnt/cdrom              udf,iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0


i want to add a new directory

/dev/hda3 swap swap defaults 0 0 but i cant type anything in this window ,how to do it and how to make a new swap !Plz Help me ,i am hurry,Thx
