help win98 cannot be installed

i have installed a win4lin 4 (5.3.22a)
and i try to install a win98se system,but when i finally start win98 for the first time ,a window named "shutdown windows" appeared, and the messange on it reads like that "shutdown windows to finish install ,please wait"
so i have to wait ,but i found that , that virtual machine didn't work any more, black screen appeared if i minisized the window and restore again.
at this time, system monitor said that , a program named dosexec use cpu usually up to 90% ,this program belongs to the win4lin.
so i write here for help , will anyone offer me some goodnews?
by the way ,my linux is redhat 9 chinese version.
