关于声卡模块

有的时候你无须知道模块名子。

直接开启应用程序，如xmms or mpg123，Linux会自动加载需要的模块！

modprobe: Can't locate module soundcore

一开机就有个提示,说什么/dev/dsp什么什么的,我忘了,呵呵
直接运行XMMS,也不行.

what is u kernel version? can u check if u have soundcore.o in /lib/modules/<u kernel version>/ and its subdir?

that /des/dsp is important, check the error.

2.4.21我自己编译了一次
在你说的目录里没有soundcore.o,但是在/lib/modules/2.4.21/kernel/drivers/sound下有个mpu401.o
请指教!

no, u only need to choose soundcore as M and lspci to see which chip u use, then check which one in alsa fits u chip, then compile alsa.

i suggest u to use alsa. which is the official in 2.6. oss will be deprecated soon.
