RH9安装问题

如果下载了RH9的三个ISO文件后，不想把它们刻成光盘，请问如何直接从硬盘安装。主要的疑问是在安装过程中要求换光盘，这时候应该怎么办？谢谢

Suppose you put the iso files in /u1/redhat9 directory, you can create the boot disk by

#mount -o loop /u1/redhat9/......cd1.iso /mnt/cdrom
#cd /mnt/cdrom/images

Put in a blank floppy, and
#dd if=bootdisk.img of=/dev/fd0

Next boot with the floppy and choose install from hard disk.  Just specify the disk partition and directory where the iso images are placed.  The installer will automatically mount all iso images during install.  No need to burn CDs or change CDs.

如果没有linux ,在windows下用rawrite把bootdisk.img写到软盘也可以

其实完全可以不制作linux启动盘
先准备好linux分区
把第一个iso中的dosutils目录抠出来
启动到dos,进入dosutils目录，运行autoboot.bat,按提示安装即可
