About the .xinitrc file

I don't know why I have not this file.

I used the command "ls -la", this file not exists, neither in /root nor /home/USER.

there are some problem on my Chinese input, I look some post, any most of them said that I should change the .xinitrc file. But I can't find it. (I used GNOME)

How can I do? any suggestion?
