请教gcc安装不成功??/

情况是这样的
[root@localhost gcc3.14rh7.3]# gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.96/specs
gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-110)

我安装gcc3.1时出现这种情况:


file /usr/share/info/gcc.info-14.gz from install of gcc-3.1-1 conflicts with file from package gcc-2.96-110
file /usr/share/info/gcc.info-15.gz from install of gcc-3.1-1 conflicts with file from package gcc-2.96-110
file /usr/share/info/gcc.info-16.gz from install of gcc-3.1-1 conflicts with file from package gcc-2.96-110
file /usr/share/info/gcc.info-17.gz from install of gcc-3.1-1 conflicts with file from package gcc-2.96-110
file /usr/share/info/gcc.info-18.gz from install of gcc-3.1-1 conflicts with file from package gcc-2.96-110
file /usr/share/info/gcc.info-19.gz from install of gcc-3.1-1 conflicts with file from package gcc-2.96-110
难道gcc3.1与2.96不可\更新吗?/

rh7.3的系统有点老，这里说有冲突
你是用rpm安装的吗？加--force --nodeps看能不能强行安装，但这样不知道会不会有负面影响。
编译的话可能成功率比较大

既然是用2进制包安装gcc，就把旧的先rpm -e在装新的吧
