内核编译后的几个问题

我的系统是gentoo linux 1.4 rc8
Linux boeing.net 2.4.20-gentoo-r8 #6 SMP Thu Nov 20 13:34:27 CST 2003 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

内核编译后，我update-modules后，显示
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r8/kernel/fs/nfsd/nfsd.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r8/kernel/net/sunrpc/sunrpc.o

我想问sunrpc是什么东西？

还有就是我打开了frame buffer，选择了对应我显卡的ATI RAEDON，编译为模块了。

我如何使用这个功能？

o .....
update-modules是gentoo的一个命令,更新模块连接.
问题出在有2个模块好象是没用的.
所以想重新编译一下内核,把这两个模块去掉.

i do not think u need nfs on u pc. so u can say N surely
