我的内核升级后，新内核不能启动，怎么解决？

我的系统RH8.0 ，GCC3.3.2 ,ext3fs,升级的内核LINUX-2.6.0-TEST9
对LINUX-2.6.0-TEST9内核编译后得到bzImage文件,将bzImage文件拷贝到/boot下.改名为vmlinuz-2.6.0.在grub.config中加入以下行:
title Linux(2.6.0)
root(hd0.4),
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.0 ro root=LABEL=/
chainloader +1
关机重启,GRUB选择Linux(2.6.0)启动,出现如下提示:
Booting ` Linux(2.6.0)
root(hd0,4)
Filesystem type is ext2fs,partition type 0X83
Kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.0 ro root=LABEL=/
[Linux-bzImage,setup=0Xa00,size=0X1b6900]
chainloader +1
error 13:invalid or unsupported excutable format
什么问题,如何解决?
