REDHAT9下SDSL上网安装配置方法请教

今天装了我们这儿的矿务局的SDSL，好象也是XDSL的一种吧，不太清楚。在XP下可以正常上网，用RH9，却不能上网，用的是PPPOE协议。具体安装方法如下：
机器配置：AMD 1G 256RAM  RTL8139网卡 RH9.0

在XWINDOWS下,首先给网卡配一192.168.0.X 255.255.255.0的地址
然后用互联网向导,建立一个XDSL的连接,使用DHCP方式.无法激活PPP0.

后来在终端方式下,安装rp-pppoe,adsl-setup,无防火墙。使用adsl-start无法连接，使用ADSL-CONNECT后出现如下提示：

然后就无反应。。光标一直闪。

我红冒自带的就可以了，你首先要把网卡的地址设置一下，随便哪个都行，然后激活
再用internet连接向导，设置一个连接，激活就可以了
