can't setup chinput

I can't setup chinput on Vine linux .
i do the same operation according to this URL (1)http://www.opencjk.org/~yumj/chinput/install.html && (2)http://www.linuxeden.com/edu/doctext.php?docid=1023
and download all the install tools from this URL http://www.opencjk.org/~yumj/project-chinput.html.
but after i setup the chinput software and export, i get this information "
chinput: error while loading shared libraries: libpth.so.14: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
i don't know why.please help me!!!.
