2.6.4新内核，但是不能进入X window

编译通过了2.6.4得新内核，只能够进入文本模式，startx出现错误，不能启动到图形界面！

使用redhat-config－xf86出现得也乱码，不成功！～

各位兄弟姐妹有什么办法可以使用新内核进入图形界面？？谢谢～

不懂！redhat-config-xf86这种命令好像只有在RH下面才有吧：）
你最好把出错信息记下来，这样才会容易解决一点。

把startx的log文件贴出来看看，查一查错误原因。

你原先的显卡驱动是不是从显卡厂商那下载编译安装的？如果是，就需要重新编译安装一次。

这是错误提示！在安装nvidia5336的驱动时，我加上了 kernel-source-path /usr/src/linux-2.6.4   但是还是不能编译通过～

你自行编译的内核源代码路径是这个吗？一般nvidia驱程会自动检测到kernel-source-path。若你不想打游戏，可以简单的把xf86config里的nvidia改为nv。

问题又来了：

我今天重新编译了，开始得时候好像是没加入AGP到内核，今天加上了
然后使用5336得驱动程序倒是安装上了，通过startx 可以进入图形界面，但是只要一重启又不可以进入图形界面了，只好又装驱动，然后再进入图形界面！
请问这个该怎么办？？
