新手请教-----RH9的中文输入不见了！

昨天设置了linux下的simsun字体 后，字体修改成功，但是中文输入法就不见了，重新安装了Chinput后，ctl+space还是没有中文输入法。请问怎么把中文输入法找回来？？    //bow

附：修改simsun的过程
装载windows所在的目录，拷贝其中的字体文件simsun.ttc(win2000)到
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1目录下,
然后运行ttmkfdir > fonts.dir.
然后进入/etc/gnome编辑gtkrc.zh_CN文件中所有的
fontset = "-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--14-*-*-*-*-*-gb2312.1980-0"
全部改成
fontset = "-misc-simsun-medium-r-normal--14-*-*-*-*-*-gb2312.1980-0"
存档退出.
进入/etc/X11,编辑文件XF86Config,修改成
Section "Files"
FontPath "unix/:7100"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1"
EndSection
存档退出.

i also have an problem about the chinses input method:

now i can't input Chinese!
