Pre6的内核没有打开超线程？
我的六儿童节版是没有的！

另外，打开内核超线程选项的情况下：自行编译的2.6.7+cko7补丁，编译完成后不能启动计算机，黑屏；但是在2.6.7+mm7下，第一次启动不成功（黑屏），修改了启动vga参数（乱填一个778）后可以启动。但是出现debug提示，内容没看清楚。用起来还可以的。

我的基本配置如下：
intel 865pe + p4c 2.4G + 1GDDR400 + GF4MX440se + 80G HD

FAQ 里应该有，老问题了，估计以后可能解决。
1. 修改 etc/security/console.perms 将后面两列里所有 0660 和 0600 改成 0777
2. 在终端里运行 alsaconf 配置声卡
3. 在 KDE 菜单里打开 kmix，如果是 KDE 3.2.2 以及更低版本，且你的声卡使用 CMI8738 芯片，那么你需要在“高级”面板里关闭交换左右声道，以及某些其他选项（试试哪种声音好），点击文件菜单里的退出，重启 kmix。 KDE 3.2.3 好象已经解决这个问题。

没有必要为了少数使用 pentium4C 或 E 的用户编译一个 SMP 内核，你自行编译内核时选择支持对称多处理器就行了。

这是老问题，见 FAQ。某个 ML 版本的内核没有选择支持 codepage=936(中文支持)，你需要自己在
etc/fstab 相应的 windows 分区选项里添加 codepage=936，然后执行：
umount -a 和 mount -a
另外最好加上 umask=0 以便普通用户可以写入 windows 分区。例如：

title中有空格会导致initrd生成失败，
而且没有任何提示~~

这个我倒是没有注意到啊。

更正一下。刚刚发现在 FC2 里面用 nv 驱动也是有问题的。
我仔细看了 xorg.conf 的 man page，似乎有一个 HSkew 可以调节这个，但是我试了很多次也不能把这个 Mode 节写对

nVidia 提供的驱动解决了这个问题。

61 版的 MagicLinux，现在有两个问题。

1、LeadTek S320II 显卡，TNT2 Pro 芯片，32M 显存，用的标准 nv 驱动程序，Sharp LL-T15G1 显示器(15 寸 LCD，1024x76，屏幕的位置老是偏右 15 个像素。在 win2k 和 FC2 下(用自带的 nv 和从 nVidia 下载、编译的 nvidia 驱动都试过)完全正常。试过把 FC2 的设定 DisplaySize 300 240 加到 ML 的配置文件中，没有效果。把 FC2 的 Xorg.conf 配置文件搬到 ML 下没有效果。在控制中心也找不到可以调节的工具。

如果只是安装 ML 的话倒不成问题，在 LCD 上手动调节一下就行了，但是经常切换操作系统的人就比较麻烦了。

2、/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ 下的 ifcfg-ethx 和 ifdown 有点不匹配。默认情况下设置的 ifcfg-ethx 里面的 HWADDR 是大写的字母，但是 ifdown 检查的时候从 ip 工具取得的 MAC 地址却是小写的，然后就会失败，报告错误如下：

Device eth0 has different MAC address than expected, ignoring.

Mode  "name"
              This is an optional multi-line entry that can be used to provide
              definitions for video modes for the monitor.  In most cases this

              will be sufficient.  The Mode keyword indicates the start         of  a
              multi-line video mode description.  The mode description is ter-
              minated with the EndMode keyword.         The mode description consists
              of the following entries:

              DotClock        clock
                  is the dot (pixel) clock rate to be used for the mode.

              HTimings        hdisp hsyncstart hsyncend htotal
                  specifies the horizontal timings for the mode.

              VTimings        vdisp vsyncstart vsyncend vtotal
                  specifies the vertical timings for the mode.

              Flags  "flag" ...
                  specifies  an optional set of mode flags, each of which is a
                  separate string in  double  quotes.        "Interlace"  indicates
                  that        the mode is interlaced.         "DoubleScan" indicates a mode
                  where each scanline is doubled.  "+HSync" and         "-HSync"  can
                  be  used  to        select        the  polarity  of  the        HSync  signal.
                  "+VSync" and "-VSync" can be used to select the polarity  of
                  the  VSync  signal.  "Composite" can be used to specify com-
                  posite sync on hardware where this is supported.   Addition-
                  ally, on some hardware, "+CSync" and "-CSync" may be used to
                  select the composite sync polarity.

              HSkew  hskew
                  specifies the number of pixels (towards the  right  edge  of
                  the  screen)        by  which  the        display enable signal is to be
                  skewed.  Not all drivers use this information.  This        option
                  might         become         necessary  to override the default value sup-
                  plied by the server (if  any).   "Roving"  horizontal         lines
                  indicate  this value needs to be increased.  If the last few
                  pixels on a scan line appear on the left of the screen, this
                  value should be decreased.

              VScan  vscan
                  specifies  the  number  of times each scanline is painted on
                  the screen.  Not all drivers use this         information.        Values
                  less        than 1 are treated as 1, which is the default.        Gener-
                  ally, the "DoubleScan" Flag  mentioned  above         doubles  this
                  value.

似乎基本上搞清楚上面几个参数是怎么回事了，设置以后可以正常启动 X，但是 HSkew 好象没什么作用

希望 ML 发布的时候带的开发包可以编译 nVidia 的驱动程序。
