新安装的linux系统，可是是英文版的，虽然阅读里面的功能没什么大碍，却在浏览下载的东西时候无法显示中文，不知道高手怎么看，在坛子里好像更多的是redhat的中文显示的问题的解决，可是redhat是中文版的
现在这个压根就是英文版的www.xandros.com这里又有关版本的下载，希望大家试试，高手看有没有解决的办法，小生这里先谢过了：）

贴一个捷图上来看看。
可能原因：
1，没有安装中文字体
2，浏览器encoding设置成默认的western了。

另外，中文版英文版和显示中文无关。
中文还是英文只是菜单之类界面上的东东。

我找过了呀，语言设置的地方只有区域设置的时候有china其他的都没有，语言栏里面只有englishU。K。和englishU.S.不应该是这的问题吧，截图？该截什么图我都不知道，都是英语界面表示的，说得很清楚的：）

安装中文字体

中文字体是肯定要安装的，要不如何显示中文，另外如果想使用英文界面显示中文，执行这个试试：
echo "LC_CTYPE=zh_CN" > ~/.i18n

然后重启X

需要glibc的支持，如果xandros去掉了里面的东西的话，想要支持中文，除非他支持en_US.UTF-8.

I have never used xandros.
When you install other distributions of Linux, during the installation you should be asked what language do you want to use, and that is a multi selection item, so you can select both English and Chinese or any other languages you want to use in your system. That step basiclly will install the font for different languages support.

but i wasn't asked about languages when i installed,then what will i do?i installed the system with vmware workstation,but i don't think that's not proper,what do you think?
