编译2.6.6内核出问题,求教?????

我的是linux2.6.6的版本,以下是我安装的步骤:

(1)make menuconfig
(2)make install
结果出错
#make install

make[1]: *** [install] Error 1
make: *** [install] Error
请问这是则么回事呢?

？？？你连make bzImage;make modules;make modules_install的过程都省啦？？？
