系统安装的版主叫我贴到这边来
都重装了四五遍了，还是进不了X！！也不知道哪儿出了问题！希望各位高手给看看！！

听几位老大的建议，把 Option "UseFBDev" "true" 注释掉了（＃Option "UseFBDev" "true"）！但还是不行！显示

你用的是stable也就是woody的debian吧，xfree86的版本好低啊
gf4对它来说新了点，look this

这句话说明你的/etc/X11/XF86Config-4第16行有错，好像应该是非空的。

我觉得可以话升级到sarge或是sid，对新硬件的支持好点。在你原来的基础上装个显卡驱动觉得意义不大(当然装是可以装的).

Driver "nv"
change the driver name "nv" to "vesa". that is it.

vesa is a universal graphic driver. because you have not install the nvidia driver yet, you can't use the driver name nv.
