xft2 粗体斜体测试完成

rh8 + glibc 2.3.1 + XFree 4.2.1
XFT2用的是从这里下载的。
上面的东西都是RH提供的src.rpm，我自己编译的
qt3。1。1用的是rh 8.1中src。rpm，打了个补丁。
qt.spec被我改了一点，去掉了odbc, postgresql, mysql的支持，加上了
configtest。patch
kde 3.1rc5 没有使用补丁，

OK,我重新测试。
glibc 2.3.1最好先不要使用，很多软件有问题。
比如kopete等。

kopete的问题估计是gcc造成的，因为我不能编译，而且是在libicq的编译过程中出现了QString的类型转换错误

NO, It is qt's problem.
you can try qt-3.1.0, and kopete is ok,
but do not use glibc-2.3.1, because if you use it,
you can also compile kopete well,but can not use it ,
you will not login any server such as msn,icq,
so glibc-2.2.93+qt-3.1.0+kde-3.1rc5 is the best  now(just "now").
and maybe , qt needs more work(kdebase-3.1rc5's nsplugin can not compiled under qt-3.1.1)and some software also need update to new version.
such as nvidia driver, the newest version can not support X 4.2.99.3 and 4.2.99.2.

Xft2支持粗斜体非常不错，可惜我的不能加载Xtt呀，一加X就不能启动了。为什么？不是说是用Xtt+Xft2吗？请指教。

我现在只使用xft2,已经不用xtt了，虽然有些程序显示的比较差

不用xtt，mozilla能显示simsun字体吗？是怎么搞的？我的mozilla不用xtt就
显示simsun很难看，也不能显示粗斜体。

我的mozilla不是xft版的。

用xft版本的mozilla就可以了
