gimp升级过程中的问题，请教高手。

我的系统是RH9，今天想升级GIMP到2.X，升级的时候提示要升级GTK+，于是下载了glib-2.6.2和atk-1.9.0，pango-1.8.0， 安装完glib-2.6.2后，再装ATK的时候就 ：GLIB 2.5.7 or better is required. The latest version of
*** GLIB is always available from ftp://ftp.gtk.org/. If GLIB is installed
*** but not in the same location as pkg-config add the location of the file
*** glib-2.0.pc to the environment variable PKG_CONFIG_PATH.

是想可能是目录的问题吧，再有我下载的pkg-config里面是Glib1.2.8，是不是这里的问题，可是我不知道怎样改，高手提示一下。

找到 glib-2.0.pc:
locate glib-2.0.pc
将路径加到 PKG_CONFIG_PATH 中。

Redhat、Mandrake、Federo 对软件升级是非常麻烦，用这些发型版就尽量少升级。
如果喜欢升级就学 Debian 和 Gentoo。

谢谢，不过现在好多软件要用到高于GTK+2.0的，所以没办法，又是初学的。
