为何我的98共享不了Linux？

我有三台电脑，一台是RedHat 9 ，一台是win2000，一台是win98，在Linux里samba已设置好了，从2000可以共享Linux和win98，从Linux也可以共享2000和98，从98可以共享2000，为何无法共享Linux？在网上邻居里无法看到Linux的共享机器名和文件夹。

好像98本身和linux共享时，就容易出现问题。
你98是怎么配置的？？

1。我已经安装了几乎所有的协议。
2。设置用户为windows网络用户。
3。在打印机文件共享处也设设为共享了，并设置了一个共享文件夹。
4。各台机器之间互相ping得通。
5。在Linux里已把安全级别设置为无防火墙。

还缺什么呢，主要是2000?已可正常访问Linux，为何98就不能？

我已把Linux下的共享文件夹设置为任何人可访问，这样还需要用户吗？因为义的win2000的用户名和98的用户名一样，为何2000可访问，98就不能访问呢？

在W9X的注册表里修改：
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\VNETSUP]
"EnablePlainTextPassword"=dword:00000001
和：
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\VREDIR]
"DiscardCacheOnOpen"=string:00000001
再试试。

Be change the Register Editor in Windows9X:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\VNETSUP]
"EnablePlainTextPassword"=dword:00000001
and
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\VREDIR]
"DiscardCacheOnOpen"=string:00000001
then try it again!
