我想知道显卡的启动过程，以及io操作。
显卡的io端口定义是通用的标准还是各有各地定义。

请问一下，3d加速里 内核的显卡驱动，xfree86的driver, mesa的libglx是怎样分工的。dri是嵌入到哪里的？
我一直想了解显卡驱动的3d加速的机制，可还是不知何从下手。

Can the INT program in graphic card bios work correctly in linux runnning on mips cpu? I don't know whether that bios program can run on mips cpu.

could you give me some suggestion about the books on vga & framebuffer & how to use assembly language to controll graphic card?

sorry, i can not give u any suggestion. i have no interest on xfree and never spend time on it. what i know is small part of linux kernel. especially on i/o , fs part.
