安装configure device driver时出错

我参考了坛子里的

关于从GNU/LINUX安装DEBIAN的文章，从RH9的基础上开始安装WOODY，下载了相关的四个文件，放在/boot/debian下，修改GRUB，添加如下的部分（我没用LILO，也不太熟悉，只好照葫芦画瓢了：）
title debian_install
        root (hd0,6)
        kernel /boot/debian/linux.bin
        initrd /boot/debian/root.bin
不过重新启动后居然还能引导安装，进入debian install界面
执行到install kernel driver modules时选择hard disk-->/dev/hda6-->list，之后提示正在install ..-21/drivers.tgz，然后就是configure device driver modules，出现如下提示：
remember that many drivers are already included in the running kernel,if you don't see a required module in the modules configuration,this driver may already have been loaded and you can use the hardware without loading the driver manually.
continue之后出现：
problem:no modules were in /target/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4 that could be configured,please install the kernel modules first,by running the "configure device driver modules" step.
再continue就回到next:configure device driver modules，然后就一直这样循环。
这可能是什么原因造成的呢？
我在win2000中只下载了woody的第一个non－us的iso，解开到fat32分区下了，也就是上边选择的hda6。
请大侠指点！
