About Acrobat reader 5.0!!

How to display chinese in Acrobat reader 5.0?
I have downloaded the simple Chinese package, and installed it !!
When I chick the PDF file, it have a massege said
" did not find ??GB2312, Bold " !
Help me !!!!

下载chsfont.tar.gz,保存到/usr/local/,进行解压,进入/usr/local/CHSKIT,

INSLANG --进行简体中文字库的安装,但在安装前你需要知道Acrobat5安装在哪个目录下.

下载到的中文语言包并不支持所由的中文pdf, 而且从acrobat 5.0起, acrobat对中日韩语言pdf的支持只限于那些支持CID keyed字体的pdf, 所以有些中文pdf是无法看的, 你可能需要acrobat reader 3.x.

Oh my god!!
I am using Acrobat reader 6.0 in Windows, and it can show the Chinese correctly!

acrobat的话，我是不清楚怎么修改字体设置，不过xpdf的话，建议你搜索一下我的关于xpdf的帖子，中文显示效果还是不差的。

I am using MDK9.2, and XPDF can not display Chinese too!!

你的linux的acrobat可以显示其他的中文pdf文件吗？如果是什么中文pdf都不能显示的话，那可能是你安装的问题啦。

如果pdf包含windows中文ttf字体，但又没有嵌入该字体的话，我想在linux可能就有问题。你可以在windows，打开该pdf文件，用菜单：File--->Document Properties --->Font，再拿一个在linux可以正常显示得pdf文件，同样的操作，看看其中的字体的信息有什么不同。
