debian 新手 软件安装

安装了debian ，想装gcc
键入：
apt-get install gcc
屏幕提示：
reading package lists...done
building dependency tree ...done
package gcc has no available version , but exists in database
this typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and never uploaded ,has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents of sources.list
however the forllowing packages replace it:
gcc++-3.0
W:couldnt stat source package list ftp://61.172.200.169  main/non-free packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/61.172.200.169-debian-sid-dists-main-nonfree-binary-i386-packages)
-stata (2 No such file or directory)
W::couldnt stat source package list ftp://61.172.200.169  main/contrib package (/var/lib/apt/lists/61.172.200.169-debian-sid-dists-main-contrib-binary-i386-packages)-stata (2 No such file or directory)
W:you many want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
E:package gcc has no installation candidate

上面提示的错误，是不是 sources.list  的问题？大家的sources.list 具体是怎样写的？能贴出来看 看吗？

小弟第一次安装debian , 有很多都不懂。不知各位都是怎样安装软件的，一般有那几种安装方法，是通过什么途径安装的？

我用的是 geekbone 的，不少人说 cn99 也很快，没try 过

gcc在BaseSystem里面不是已经默认安装了吗？

Base System装没这个东西的。
