linux开放源码的弊端

MS可以利用linux的源码来改进windows，赚取中国人民的money；
反过来，linux却不可以。
这样的话，在桌面上linux如何能超过ms呢？

这个应该不能算弊端吧。即使没有LINUX，MS的WIN系列也一直在改进，何况类UNIX的源码到处都是。开放源码的弊端，我认为是缺乏统一性，这样导致了一些混乱，但现在LINUX已经逐渐开始统一了。

我也觉得是这个样子的。我是linux的菜鸟，我用过redhat linux 9以后觉得没有windows好用（这是windows用户转向linux用户的通病）。给我感触最深的就是linux下的应用程序不统一，比如常用的mozzila、xmms、openoffice这些东西在最基本的字体上就非常麻烦。没有同意的标准就不可能形成一个非常完善的程序，你写你的，我写我的这是linux面临最大问题。

要是统一了，就没有所谓的个性化了，个性化才是真正吸引人的地方。
这才是这么多的玩家选择LINUX的原因吧，

如果开放源代码，有100个人改进linux，如果不开放源代码只有1个人改进linux，看来开放源代码更好一些。

linux永远属于大众的啊，标准混乱一点，没有什么不好，这样才能知道那一条路最好，最有利啊
可能现在有些路子是好的，但是环境一变，情况就迥异啊，别的方法现在不好，但是也要发展，说不定将来是一条不错的道路啊。即使错了，也可以借鉴。
windows的全封闭，最容易走进的是死胡同，一个方向错误了，就要回到起点重新来过，成本太高了。
所以window的发展的部分错误，只能依靠垄断和欺瞒用户来掩盖

yes, if this is happen in internal of linux community. it is fine. but now people want to use linux to replace windows. then we need not so many open sources projects. tens of IM. tens of ftp client. but if all people that develop Im can pay more attention to gaim and kmess, then it can be much better than now. and even d4x can not compete with flashget. or even netants.
my throught is we have a statistics, what is the frequently used software for home use. then find the best in windows platform, then get a best on linux. one to one competition. when one day u find that all software u used in windoze can find a good replacement on linux. u can swtich to linux easily.
