我的GCC版本是4.0.1，不能安装Mplayer吗？郁闷…

如题，有什么办法能解决吖。下面的是我安装时出现的提示：

same compiler as we do, or use --disable-gcc-checking but DO *NOT* REPORT BUGS
unless you can reproduce them after recompiling with a 2.95.x or 3.x version!

Note for gcc 2.96 users: Some versions of this compiler are known to miscompile
mplayer and lame (which is used for mencoder).  If you get compile errors,
first upgrade to the latest 2.96 release (minimum 2.96-85) and try again.
If the problem still exists, try with gcc 3.x (or 2.95.x) *BEFORE* reporting
bugs!

      GCC 2.96 IS NOT AND WILL NOT BE SUPPORTED BY US !

请从mplayer的网站上下载cvs snapshot。

你要安装mplayer可以用补丁

http://www.magiclinux.org/people/sunmoon1997/patches/mplayer/mplayer-1.0_pre7-gcc4.patch

把下载的补丁放到/root下,就进入MPlayer-1.0pre7目录,进行打补丁

[root@localhost root] cd MPlayer-1.0pre7
[root@localhost MPlayer-1.0pre7]patch -p1 < ../mplayer-1.0_pre7-gcc4.patch

xine现在是支持gcc 4.x编译了.

patch -s1 ................................. 就可以了呀！

daily CVS snapshot source

下CVS版
就可以直接安装了！
解压缩后：
./configure --enable-gui --enable-largefiles
make
make install
这样就安装好了。要想安装GUI，
可以参考版里面的精华。
