为什么gtk+2.8.0装不上？

在ML2.0B3中用源包编译gtk+2.8.0提示如下：

用源包安装atk-1.10.1.tar.bz2  glib-2.8.1.tar.bz2  
              pango-1.10.0.tar.gz   cairo-1.0.0.tar.gz
后编译gtk+2.8.0提示还是一样，为什么装不上？

是不是软件版本都符合了？glib，atk，pango，cairo。

安装时注意都应指定 --prefix=/usr，安装后都应运行 ldconfig。

KDE说的指定prefix 倒无所谓。因为 pkg-config 可以自己查。这个错误原因提示里很清楚，依赖包的版本不符合。

似乎 /usr 的 pkg-config 数据要比 /usr/locale 靠前。
如果不装在 /usr ，那就只能卸载旧的
