怎么设置才能正常显示汉字？

我装了sarge后(只用了一张光碟），剩下的安装工作都是通过网络用apt-get install完成的，顺序如下:
  apt-get install gdm
  apt-get install x-window-system-core gnome-core  x-window-system

  dpkg-reconfigure locales 显示LANG="zh_CN"。。。,

  startx启动后弹出对话框提示:There was an error starting up the screensaver.Failed to execute
  child process "XSrennsaver"(No such file or directory)....

  还有最重要的是所有的汉字都变成了0101的方块，通过Mozilla Firefox浏览中文Yahoo时，全是乱码，任凭切换页面代码
  GB2312,Simplifies,GB18030等等，不见好转，请高手指点迷津，不胜感激...

apt-get install ttf-arphic-gbsn00lp ttf-arphic-gkai00mp

我还有一问题，apt-get install fcitx 后不能输入汉字，我在设置里边已经增加了
LC_CTYPE=zh_CN
XMODFIES="@im=fcitx"

运行fcitx后，只有输入框，框里却显示不了汉字，更不要说输入了!!
请高手帮忙 :-(

问题已经解决写XMODIFIERS="@im=fcitx" 到.gnomerc中去
