I'm now in linux, And I'm sorry for can't input chinese

I tried times and times again, but it still don't work
and I found that Firefox and Epipyany web browser are all based on mozilla core, so they all can't be opened after I installed them, what a puzzle.
maybe it's because that I've modified the font.conf file to get a beautiful font, and after that mozilla can't find the required font. so it can't start.
or whatever,  thank you for you kindness very much.
by the way, can you recommand a chinese input software for me?

I've fix the problem of mozilla
it's just because that I changed my fonts.conf file to add some fonts, and I also added some comments with the format <!--  something -->, and I didn't think that mozilla can't interpret the comments, after a long time of debugging, I found the problem at last, and problem was solved quickly by removing the comments in the file fonts.conf.
hehe, it's hard the find the bug though it's easy to fix it.

by the way, I have two questions!
First: How to uninstall the software which is installed by the "./configure; make; make install" steps to the fcitx.tar.gz file? just using make uninstall? or something? because I don't like fcitx, I want to install scim.
Second: is the font simsun the same as "SongTi" in chinese? why I can find "SongTi" font in Applications-> perference-> fonts, but I can't find this font in xmms-> perference->font, I don't know why? aren't they based on the same font library?
