note format

read code need write notes. then shall we need a formal read note format?
currently i add my undertanding to the beginning of a file and comments in place. but there maybe some better solution.
i am current reading 2.4.20. my personal opinion is that 2.4.20 changes block device layer totally, which is important for me. all my old code under 2.4.2 and 2.4.4 can not run under 2.4.20 is the best proof. since i do some storage relaed research, so i will only read vm, fs, block layer, scsi layer code.  i already read part of it before, but forget most recently becuase never write notes.

hope can discuss with you guys. BTW, is china now have a job for reading code? if so, i want to apply. hehe
