一般情况下在debian安装vmware是不会有太多问题的。但如果内核升级到2.6.16就有问题了，我在vmware的官方论坛找到说 workstation5.5不能工作在>2.6.15的内核下，晕呀！（参考：http: //www.vmware.com/community/thread.jspa?threadID=36280&tstart=0）你会遇到 The kernel defined by this directory of header files does not have the same address space size as your running kernel.
