启动FC5时的问题

前面loading都ok就是最后出现了一条提示 cannot open font file none
这是什么意思,我无法进入XWINDOWS 我已经在字符界面下用VI修改了inittab了

搜索一下。记得有个注释xorg.conf有关行的方法，不知对FC5是否有效。

还有就是我用root在字符界面启动x
输入startx后出现以下文本:
xauth:    creating new authority file /root/.serverauth.2426
xinit:    No such file or directory (errno 2): no server "x" in PATH
use  the --option,or make sure that,  /usr/bin is your path and that "x"is a program or a link to the right tpye of server for your display.Possible server names include: Xorg X.Org display
   xinit: server error
PS:安装完FC5后重新启动后,第一次就没有进入x提示cannot open font file none

xorg.conf里面的字体是不是有问题。
更多的log可以看
/var/log/Xorg.0.log

还是没用,我觉得可能是font的路径不对,因为x日志里最后一行是could not init font path element unix/:7100,removing from list!

unix/:7100

这个路径就是由xfs 提供的，当然干脆不用也可以。

xfs是启动的,没用,我装好系统后,第一次启动就是字符界面,从没进过图形界面

你就干脆把/etc/X11/xorg.conf里的unix/:7100这行注释掉：　
# unix/:7100

系统重装了以后问题解决了,但是启动的时候还是会出现cannot open font file none不过已经不影响进入x
