安装GEDA的问题

我进入geda的目录,然后运行

是不是没装gtk？

而且我不懂为什么要自己编译。geda网站上既有deb包又有rpm包，而且debian、gentoo的官方软件仓库里好像也都直接提供了，有必要自己去下载源码包编译吗？特别是对编译还不太熟的人。
