安装Mandriva2006的问题

在一台配置较新的电脑上安装Mandriva2006，反复试了多次，均在接受安装协议后，复制SATA驱动时死机，这台电脑配置为 Athlon64 3000+、NF4 Ultra芯片组、希捷7200.9 SATA2.5 160G硬盘，GeForce6600显卡，并且已经成功安装了SuSE10和ubuntu6.06。

后来在一台较旧的电脑上安装Mandriva2006成功，电脑配置为Athlon 1700+、VIA芯片组、希捷酷鱼4代IDE80G硬盘，GeForce2MX400显卡。

是否Mandriva2000对SATA硬盘兼容性不好，

with mandriva you have to turn off acpi then install for some reason install hangs when installing sata if acpi is on.it even sees xp nvraid .this may work with other distros.don't forget to turn acpi back on after install or xp won't work

在bios里关了acpi再试式

You could always just pass "noapic" as a kernel param... saves having to turn it back on afterwards.

ie: for a Fedora Install, when it sits there after loading the CD / DVD, it asks you to either hit enter (default) or pass install options. It's here that you can type "linux noapic" and it will pass "noapic" to the kernel once it has loaded.

关了acpi果然不死机了，版主能解说一下原因吗？不过Mandriva的硬件识别不太好，我是usb鼠标，安装过程中鼠标会死掉，我的6600显卡也不识别，安装过程中点显示测试就死机，后来不测试继续安装，安装好之后，进不了图形界面。而以前安装SuSE和ubuntu没有这种情况。

还有，bios里面关了acpi后，进不了win xp，吓我一身冷汗，后来，打开acpi，ok了，虚惊一场。

主要是对NForce主板支持不好。

我也是nf4主板，6600的显卡，usb鼠标
不过我不是sata硬盘，安装倒是比较顺利

可是。。。。。。。。。。
装好mandriva后进不了图形界面

进不了图形界面是因为manriva对显卡识别错误，驱动不对，我在另一台旧电脑（配置见一楼）上安装成功后，是可以进图形界面的。
