How to use scim in FC5?

It is that when installing FC5, I chose the default language environment to be English with Chinese support, the resulting system therefore doesn't have scim fully configured.
Could anyone please tell me the way to configure it, please?

以前是因为直接升级fc4到5，所以没有遇到这个问题，现在由于尝试了一下硬盘安装发现了这个问题。
在fc4的英文环境中用scim可以直接转换到中文输入法，而fc5中不行。
网上提供了很多方法，基本上就是改一下/etc/sysconfig/i18n 在里面添加LC_CTYPE="zh_CN.UTF-8"但是这样改的话会导致终端中的英文字母颜色变浅，也有设置 /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/xinput.sh的但感觉改/etc下的文件不安全，升级时有副作用。当然你也可以直接用中文环境，那就没这个问题了。
其实也有简单的方法，你只要不在中文环境中，在自己的home中建一个文件.xinput.d/,然后建一个软连接，将/etc/init/input.d/scim 连接到 ~/.xinput.d/default
操作如下：
mkdir ~/.xinput.d
ln -s /etc/init/input.d/scim ~/.xinput.d/default
在进行操作前确保自己装了scim.完成操作后logout再一次进gnome，一切就ok了
