我的显卡是否已经加速成功?

随便找一块ati的9550，用glxgears测试就能上到3000fps。
不过如果用ati驱动里带的fglx_gears测试就只能上到600左右。

楼上,你的9550是怎么安装驱动的,我的在RH9下安装不了...HELP

去ati的官网上下一个4.3版的驱动。应该是个rpm包
用rpm -ivh filename.rpm --nodeps安装就行了。
之后会启动配置程序。按照提示做应该没问题。

glxinfo
吧

如果direct rendering:后面是No，表示没有硬件加速。

我的才有90多FPS
我的是S3显卡,
在FC4下它也是认S3

nvidia的readme里的官方解释

Q. I have installed the driver, but my Enable 3D Acceleration checkbox is
   still greyed out.

A. Most distribution-provided configuration applets are not aware of the
   NVIDIA accelerated driver, and consequently will not update themselves when
   you install the driver. Your driver, if it has been installed properly,
   should function fine.
