小弟初来～请教各位大虾点问题

我想问下：1。我如果从来没有用过linux的话，第一次用什么版本会比较好呢？
2。我可以在硬盘安装吗？下载的是ISO镜像的话，我需要拷贝哪些文件才能在硬盘安装呢？？

either rh or mdk is ok, do not use gentoo, or debian.
since u never use it before, u had better burn iso to cd and install from cd.

除了Redhat和Mandrake，你也可以试一试magic linux 是真正中国人用的linux，我感觉对初学者也很适合。
RH和Mdk都支持用ISO直接安装，但有些时候可能会出错，建议你在VMware中用ISO安装，一般没问题。而且错了也不会有什么危险。

i never try magic linux, but should be ok. at least u can gain support from thsi forum directly.
backup u important data before u do it. for a new beginner, linux is not so easy to install.
