装载模块问题

我的系统是REDHAT LINUX 7.2，编译了支持ipv6的内核并且启动后，ifconfig eth0 显示的是原来的ipv4和ipv6的地址，但是我用PING命令ping   ipv6的地址，显示UNKNOW HOST  FE80::E8FF:FE7D:8A80/10我之前已经ipv4的地址删掉了，另外指派了ipv6的地址，
是不是还要装载ipv6的模块啊？如何转载啊？要用安装碟嘛？我的光驱用不了啊，急～～～～～～

what u mean 支持ipv6的内核? u choose Y or M? if Y , u need not load it. if u already have ipv6 address, i believe the ipv6 module is loaded already.
ipv6 module is part of kernel now. so u need not try to find it elsewhere.

我指派了ipv6 的地址，把原来的ipv4的地址删掉。但是在重新开机后使用PING
进行ping本主机的地址，显示unknow   host，是不是ipv6 的ip没有激活啊？如果是的话，怎么激活啊？

frankly, i never try ipv6 on linux before. so if u kernel has no problem, the problem u have now is beyond my knowledge. so sorry.

but how u accomplish "指派了ipv6 的地址"? where u assign it? after reboot, what the ifconfig report, what the route report. u had better post the output here, i can not go further base on my guess on u system.

at sometime, i feel trouble to answer questions because the description on problem is too simple. if possible, i perfer to ssh to u system and check it directly, instead of ask problems on these problems.
