为何不能解压？

在该网站下载的大部分文件在解压的时候都提示：命令行出错。这是为何？而在windows 下却可以用rar解压的。
是不是我安装的RH9.0有问题？

你用什么命令解压的？？是什么包？(像tar.gz tar.bz2 zip)

in shell prompt, cd / to the location of the tar file, eg. cd /home

type the following command
[code:1]
# tar -xvf your_tar_file.gz /home<--location of the unzipped file[/code:1]
