How to know the size of a flie

when I use the console mode ,I really don't know.

另外，df -h可以查看磁盘使用状况。

I try it ,
but it just know how the file use the disk space .
Still don't know the file size .
For instance , I have a file of 512B , but it display 4k after use "du ...".
It's no correct !
any other commands ?

du -h filename 不行吗? 那用ls -s呢?
