[X server]不能正常启动了,谁能帮我补救啊？

用的是Fedora core，今天从源码编译Gnome2.6，但是快到最后有个epiphany包在
安装的时候出问题：
checking for mozilla-gtkmozembed... Package mozilla-gtkmozembed was not found
in
the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `mozilla-gtkmozembed.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'mozilla-gtkmozembed' found

当时不知道怎么办，于是就重启了
结果reboot后，出现了Fedora的启动界面“show details”之后，nVidia显卡图像，
然后是黑屏上，有鼠标的“十字叉”，但是马上出现提示：
“There already appears to be an X server running on display :0 .Should I try
another display number? If you answer no, I will attempt to start the server
on :0 again. You can change consoles by press.....

这应该是X server 坏掉了吧？  有什么办法可以补救么？

你看看/usr/lib/pkgconfig/下面到底有没有说的那个*.pc文件，如果有的话，用
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib/pkgconfig然后再从新编译一下gnome2.6看看。小弟水平有限，但是我觉得x很难会的，一般坏的都是桌面主题。

恩,现在Gnome 2.6确实能进去了,不过由于没有安装完全,问题非常多.
/usr/lib/pkgconfig没有
不过我在找解决的办法,只有想办法找到那个package的源码来编译了
