我在RadHat Linux V9.00上升级gtk到gtk

我在RadHat Linux V9.00上升级gtk到gtk2.4＋后图形界面进不去了。
我编译安装的包有：
atk-1.6.0.tar.gz
glib-2.4.0.tar.gz
pango-1.4.0.tar.gz
gtk+-2.4.0.tar.gz
openQ-0.3.tbz
这些包都是按照这里面的帖子说明安装的，但重启系统后图形界面不能自动启动，启动图形界面到出现“X”鼠标时，死了， 要先按：Ctrl+Alt+BackSpace 退出，再手工启动：startx；结果出一些错误，同时图形界面也启动了。
其错误提示有：

gnome好像也要升级吧

哦,是这样的吗?谢谢版主了,不过我已经用lumaQQ实现了QQ功能,不过以后还是会看一下是不是这个原因的.
