Bug of memory management

I have found that if I put the "Inputmethod switcher" onto any pannel the memory will be consumed in several hours. Now I just get rid of it from the panel I can use the fedora core 2 GNOME from 9am to 5pm. :-)
I think that is a bug of GNOME or maybe it is a bug of Fedora core 2.

Who can introduce the management mechanism of Linux?

Gnome im swither comes from iiimf-gtk, so, file a bug report to FC2.

XIM is still a better choice for normal user ATM
