进不了x-window

开启xfs服务就可以进了。如果你用的是rh/fr系列的话

/etc/init.d/xfs restart

我的xfs都是OK的，既使我xfs restart 也是一路OK绿灯呀！
但是本来应该是出现X-WINDOW登陆框的那一屏就是不出来！

看看还有没有fixed字体了

用Xconfigurator重新配置一下XF86Config试试呢？顺便贴出我的字体段：

版主果然厉害，确实是我的XF86Config文件被修改了，少了/fonts/, /misc/, 和/75dpi/.加上以后，现在已经可以进XWindow了。

顺便再问个问题，前几天,为了在启动菜单中添加mplayer的菜单项,用gedit将回收站的快捷方式打开(就是打开了它的配置文件),比照其中的内容写了一个mplayer菜单项的配置文件.然后mplayer的菜单项倒是加上了,但是如果双击某个快捷方式(比如回收站),就会默认用gedit打开回收站的快捷方式的配置文件,而进不了回收站.我估计是启动器的问题,但不知道该怎么改, 烦请高人帮一下忙! 不胜感激!!!
(我的系统是redhat9.0+gnome)

你可能是将*.desktop文件类型关联到gedit了，将该文件类型的关联去掉就行了。

终于搞定了。那fixed 躲在"/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/" 这里~~

如果是kde，在kde控制中心-->kde组件-->文件关联中改。
