从root过度到普通用户

我发现从root,到非root,除了gnome比较顺利,其他的都会出现问题.
有没有一个好的方法,实现这个过度呢,比如说windowmaker!!

我用的是windowmaker，用普通用户启动则提示xkeymap有问题，具体请见，我前面的帖子

同学用fluxbox,非root用户使用时，提示can not load font 'fixed'
我把root下的配置文件靠到普通用户下，修改了权限和参数，还是不成！
