急！rh9因为缺少字体文件不能进行，图形登录？？怎么解决！！

我前两天还能正常自动进行图形界面登录，
可是昨天，安装一些软件（实际上几乎都没安装成功），然后重起后就不能进入图形界面登录。
而且系统不断尝试进入图形界面登录，形成反复循环，让我根本无法从文本界面登录。想改INITTAB文件都不行。

不过经过无数次尝试，进到地文本下的系统，而且修改了INITTAB文件让系统不再自动登录图形界面免得又死循环。。

但没有解决，不用启用图形界面的问题。系统提示启动图形界面失败的原因是，找不到fixed的字体。

我搞不懂了，我没有弄过字体文件嘛。。。
不过，我也不知道怎么恢复那东西，，甚至找不到FONT放在那儿。
怎么修复。。。

希望高手。。或者知道的同志们指点详细方法。。。。
我是头大了，，，
找了两本书没怎么说这些问题。。。
很痛苦。。。。
我用了两三天RED HAT LINUX 9出了好多问题。。。

看来菜鸟真得不合用。。。

不过我还是喜欢研究希望大家多给帮助！！！

安装的什么软件？
如何安装的？
执行的那些命令？
做了那些操作？

看看你的系统里都有哪些目录
并且找出他们的作用是什么

查找linux里字体的相关资料
还有在多重引导的时候，会有些提示，你可以看看它是怎么说的

如果上面的都做完了，运行下面的命令：
mkfontdir /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc
fc-cache -f /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc

或者，直接修改xorg.conf
加入/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc

我这两天都不能用LINUX了，因为进不了图形界面
下的软件也没装啊！！

其实就是启动不了Ｘ　ＷＩＮＤＯＷ的图形系统，其它能用，
我就是不知道什么原因引起．之前，我装ＮＶ的显卡驱动（在这儿下的），但安装不成功，然后又装ＭＰＬＡＹＥＲ＼ＸＭＭＳ都因为，不成功而结束，在解压下载的包文件时，就出错了的．可能是下载下来的软件包出错了的．
因该不会，破坏了系统吧，
不然，以后，我怎么敢再装软件啊
